‘Under the moonlight’ is an otherworldly love song about things that are missing from us. A song filled with longing and desire, held by a connection to another who isn’t physically present. The relationship in the song may be stretched across time with a memory, or over a great distance with one who is absent. Or maybe it was all just a dream. In any event, it is the same moon overhead and the same moonlight that the two factions share, and under the moonlight is where they are allowed to forget the separation and be together.
The song was created and inspired, written, and worked on during nights when the moon was full. A song 3 years in the making, the moon directed the journey of the lyrics and production and in due course also the accompanying video.
